George Garcia

Eliud George Garcia is a multifaceted producer, director, cinematographer, editor based in McKinney, Texas.  His work on corporate, broadcast, and independent productions have been recognized with numerous industry awards.

His company, EGG Entertainment, Inc., provides digital video production services to AT&T, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Sally Beauty, Sam's Club, Albertsons, Ecolab, Alcon, Nascar, Oprah, EXTRA, ESPN, MTV, VH1 and many other corporate and network entities. His work for Lockheed Martin has garnered over a million views on youtube.  His most recent work on the web video, Darpa Robotics Challenge, was honored with a Platinum AVA Award for creativity.

In 2006, he wrote, produced, directed, shot and edited the short film Brain Zapped, starring Selena Gomez.  Brain Zapped received a Silver Remi Award from the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival. It was an official selection in the KidsFirst! Film Festival, the Gloria Film Festival,and a semi-finalist in the Moondance International Film Festival.  

In 2011, he established Brain Zapped, LLC, an educational, media company that produces and develops original, engaging, educational content.  The DVD release, Brain Zapped Science Volume One, received rave reviews. The School Library Journal gave it a starred review: "Crisp, eye-catching videography, fast-paced action, and solid content combine to make this a winner."  Video Librarian magazine gave it a recommended, 3 out of 4 stars review calling it: "An appealing program."  It was also the School Library Journal's review of the day on Twitter in April 10, 2012. The Brain Zapped short "Reason for the Seasons" was awarded a KidsFirst! Best Winner in the Independent Short 8 - 12 years category.

Eliud George graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin.
